Have you ever been struck by jealousy? Have you ever yearned for something that someone else has? Have you ever thought that if you could just had what they have then you would be happy?
Perhaps you have even tried to imitate another person’s path by seeking out ways to know what they know, to do what they do, or to have what they have. It is tempting to follow in another’s shoes seeking their success, joy, or beauty.
When you look to others seeking an understanding of how to find your purpose, or at least a path to ease and happiness, you will never find your own soul’s calling. Walking their path leads to their fulfillment. You have your own path to your own soul expression based on the fulfillment of your unique desires.
You cannot steal the calling of another. You can’t even borrow it in the hopes that it will lead to fulfillment. You must turn within and find our own path to that which you seek. You must look to your own truth.
What makes you happy? What are your unique strengths? What do you feel the world really needs? When you find the overlap between your joy, your strengths, and service to others, you are beginning to illuminate your unique calling. When you find it, share it.
