One of my passions is helping fellow equine specialists and equine-facilitated practitioners spread their wings and fly. Those of us who are called to share the wisdom of Horse with the world are here to make a difference in the lives of others. We also have the awesome honor of getting to care for our equine partners as well. When we create peace within our herds, we can share that with those who come to us for healing and growth.
As far as I am concerned, we are all in this together. Whoever you have become certified with to provide equine guided/facilitated/assisted services, you are welcome here. All of us bring something unique to the field – ourselves! This is not a competition about who is best. It is a collaboration to help as many people as we can.
Support for Your Herd
Our horses come to us with trauma of their own. They step into this work with conditioned responses. If we do not take the time to work with our horses and help them to heal, they may not be showing up as authentically as we hoped. Just because a horse is loose, and therefore has the opportunity to take care of himself, doesn’t mean that he knows that is an option due to past training and conditioning.
I believe that we need to work with our horses to heal them and teach them how to do this work. We also need to support them on an ongoing basis between sessions. Learn how to communicate with your horses in a different way and how to use different healing modalities to help your horses to do their job. In this work, we need to go beyond the physical and support them energetically.

It is important to get clear on exactly what you are offering. It really helps to create your own proprietary system that is easy to talk about and clearly communicates the benefit of working with you. Be sure to stand out as an expert by packaging what you have to offer and gearing it toward your specific audience.
As a leader and innovator within this rapidly growing field, you may feel called to share your wisdom with others. Many Equine-Assisted Practioners are publishing there own books, workbooks, classes, and materials for others to benefit. If you find that you have written or created something, but you have no idea how to get it out in the world, then I am here to help. As a self-published author of numerous books, workbooks, audio CDS, and online classes, I have learned a few things over the years. I would love to help you share your voice with a wider audience.
