Think of love, bliss, and peace as the energy of life that fulfills you – it is the essence that literally sustains you. We all want to live in a state of abundance. The abundance we are really seeking is the life essence and energy that flows through us. We are seeking abundant love, abundant bliss, and abundant peace. We think that in order to have that sort of abundance we need to have an abundance of external things and circumstances such as money, prestige, compliments, beauty, fame, encouragement, status, and power.
Imagine this life energy as a body of water. To feel fulfilled we must be full of love, bliss, and peace. In order to fully embrace that state of abundance we must allow that energy to flow through us like a beautiful fountain. We must remove the blocks to that energy so that it can flow forth freely.
When we have a fountain of love, bliss, and peace within us we are not just full but overflowing. Our abundance can extend out to everyone around us. We are fulfilled internally so that we can allow all of our desires to manifest externally. With a fountain of life energy overflowing we have self-love, self-worth, and inner peace.
If we block that energy from flowing through us, our love, bliss, and peace begins to drain and diminish. We begin to lose our authentic power. We begin to feel empty. We begin to feel internal turmoil. As a result, we seek out the internal abundance that we so desperately need and want by grasping for external things. That is when we start to think “if I could just get a little more money, then I would be happy.”
However, those external things are a bit like a watering can. They help to add a bit of the love, bliss, and peace but it is not a significant amount or a lasting supply. A compliment, a great outfit, a promotion, an award, an accomplishment, a bonus – they are all small top-ups from a watering can and will not provide you with the abundance you are seeking.
We can only find true abundance by unclogging the blocks that prevent life energy from flowing freely through us. We cannot give away energy when we do not have it to give. We also cannot graciously accept energy from others when we are so thirsty for it. However, we can give and receive soulfully when we tap into internal abundance.
We must remove the beliefs we hold that block love, bliss, and peace. Every grievance, judgment, and negative belief that we hold true about ourselves is a pebble in the fountain. If we live in a state of fear, self-loathing, guilt, and unworthiness, we are tossing more and more pebbles into the fountain and diminishing life energy from flowing through us. Each of those thoughts takes us from love into fear, from bliss into guilt, and from peace into turmoil.
All it takes to change your life is a choice. Choose to relate with yourself in a new way. Choose to make an internal journey to abundance. Choose to uncover the fountain and allow life energy to flow freely.
